This is a very nice African sword-dagger that is 23” (58.50cm) without the wire wrapped scabbard. The African blacksmith, sharp forged blade is 19.50” and double-sided. The scabbard is wire wrapped and covers most of the wooden scabbard. This nice, early weapon, shows good age (patina) and was made between 1930 and 1950. The condition is excellent on the sword with some of the wire wrapping (10-20%) on the sheath missing.
