For sale is this authentic antique African Torc bracelet artifact. This piece is estimated to date back to an about 1400-1800 AD. It likely originated from the tribal regions of central or west Africa. After much reserch, this style of bracelets was common with these tribal regions, and would commonly have iguanas or other reptile figures on them, as well as other animals. Many were lost, so they are rare to find today. It is made of metal and is pretty thin and frail. It is a smaller size and may have been intended for a female or child (doesn’t fit my big wrist). This is a beautiful piece and would make a great teaching tool! This piece has been cleaned so that it makes a better display piece. It looks nice! Don’t pass it up!
